25. The engine (Suzuki DF70A), which was purchased used in May, has been installed. I’m told that the instrument panel, remote control lever, and hydraulic steering system were all replaced at that time. The total cost was reportedly about 800,000 yen. The owner also discussed replacing consumable parts but was told, “They’re still fine,” so no further work was done at that time. Additionally, while auxiliary equipment is installed, it was reportedly attached temporarily for the transit and is not normally used (the auxiliary equipment has passed its inspection).
Exterior
The fenders show signs of wear and minor scratches, giving the impression of normal aging. At a glance, I could not find any cracks or fissures that would interfere with navigation. There appeared to be quite a bit of barnacle buildup, so I think it would be best to have the hull cleaned and painted.
Front Deck
It felt very sturdy. Perhaps because there was no equipment mounted there, I didn’t see any screw hole marks. I confirmed that the navigation lights were working. I was told that a “maintenance kit” came with the used engine, but it’s still unopened. As far as I could tell, it contained spark plugs, an oil filter, an impeller kit, anodes, and other items.
Cockpit
Not only the cockpit, but the entire boat is virtually devoid of equipment. On the flip side, this means you can enjoy customizing it to your liking. There was a dent in the Ikemu cover located at the left foot area of the helm. There is storage space on the passenger side, which currently contained life jackets and other items.
Aft Deck
Like the front deck, it was very sturdy. There are two 24L fuel tanks (for regular gasoline).
Outboard Motor (Suzuki DF70A 07003F)
This is only an estimate, but according to the gauge, the hour meter read 1,040 hours. The engine starts on the first try. It has been flushed after every use.
