YAMAHA DX-27 Used Motor Boats for Sale in Japan

Purchased as a used boat in January of R8. Since then, it has reportedly undergone repairs and renovations costing approximately 800,000 yen to address areas of wear and damage. The owner has owned 17 boats to date and, aside from engine details and major work, has reportedly been diligent about replacing parts and performing maintenance himself. Even on the day of the interview, despite the heat, he was hard at work replacing parts and performing maintenance so that he could “hand over the boat with confidence.” *Transfer of the mooring spot is negotiable.
Exterior
After purchase, approximately 800,000 yen was spent on repairing and refurbishing the gunwales and hull. Other work carried out included repairing the cabin window frames—which had become stuck—and refurbishing the stern handrails. It is also noted that “the bottom of the boat needs to be painted.”
Front Deck
Thanks to the bowsprit, boarding and disembarking from the front is smooth. The electric winch was reportedly installed after the purchase. The bow rail was also very sturdy.
Aft Deck
Although it’s about 2 meters wide, it feels much more spacious than that. There’s plenty of room even when placing a cooler, tackle boxes, and other gear. It features two stations (the clutch cable was undergoing maintenance at the time of our visit), rod holders, a spanker, and sturdy handrails. It looks like you can enjoy fishing comfortably whether you’re alone or with friends. Additionally, there is one power outlet for electric reels at each of the four corners (front, back, left, and right).
Cabin
It has good depth, providing plenty of space to stow various items. Another nice perk is that a boat of this size comes equipped with a marine toilet—a welcome feature. It’s reassuring for children and women. All personal belongings were removed for the inspection.
Around the helm
It looks quite clean for its age. The instruments were all functioning properly. The fishfinder (HONDEX/PS-800GP) was reportedly installed as recently as February R8. The hour meter read 3,742 hours.
Engine
In February R8, consumables such as engine oil, various filters, and the impeller were replaced. The battery was replaced with a new one in March R8. Since then, the owner has reportedly only taken it out about five times. Additionally, because the wiring was touching the mixing elbow, the owner wrapped it in heat-resistant sheeting as a countermeasure—demonstrating extensive knowledge and experience in maintaining the boat in top condition. Cruising speed is 17 knots at 2,000 RPM; the top speed is unknown since it has never been tested, but the owner has heard it can reach 27 knots. Maintenance records are also documented in a handwritten notebook.
